My father was removed from the hostpital at midnight without permission and moved to Anchor. We didn't know where he was for almost 12 hours. Anchor accepted him without all his Parkinson's medications. Without those consistently in his system, he becomes erratic and agitated and confused. The NURSE told him in front of me that she would turn him into a zombie before he left. We are transferring him today.

They have a great program for behavioral health and substance abuse treatments, facilitated by an experienced staff.

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. The staff wasn't helpful at all. I tried called my mother (the patient) during the allotted time frames and I was hung up on twice. Once I was put on hold for about 20 mins and was then hung up on. I drove 154 miles to see my mother, on the scheduled day, and was not allowed to see her or even speak to her by phone. I was notified the day OF, not in advance, my mother's discharge day that she would be released at 2 pm. A little more communication with the family of the patient and organization within the hospital is my recommendation for this hospital.
