Comment on Ami Brookwood Medical Center - Birmingham, AL written by: Bubbabubba 2. 09/12/2011 6:55PM against my wilkl I was PHYSICALLY VIOLATED by a surgical nurse there named Estelle Murdock. i told her I wanted as male and had so informed the hospital in advance of my arrival and been assured it would be no problem. She denied what I asked for verbally and I had also written down my request on apage laying on my chest. Had I been a woman no man would ever have tried to do to me what she did. I filed complaints and the hosptial didnt seem to care very much. The administration was terrible to deal with although the other employees I encountered besides Ms Murdock and adminstration staff were pleasant and helpfut. The check in offic grosly over charged me and it took weeks to get my money refunded.....that too didnt seem to bother the hospital very much. i had the sma operation again this spring in 2011 and at the different facility everyting went perfectly== ST VINCENTS is my new place of choice.

My gratitude and thanks to Brookwood Medical Center.
